International aspirations.

Lewis Road Creamery required a clean and simple website build for their first international product launch to be distributed throughout LA and Texas supermarkets. Due to the urgency around the launch date, the website would need to be live in a matter of weeks. It would be a tight yet doable timeframe for what was required but left little room for even the slightest mishap - a worthy exercise for testing the fortitude of any website delivery process.

Having already carved out a niche in developing highly customised websites, our process for delivering complex platforms with many moving parts has been improved greatly over the years.

Each stage of the process has multiple checks and balances to ensure that the highest quality product will be delivered at the end - both on time and on budget. We call it agile development, and it’s a more iterative and incremental approach to delivering software projects.

From the get go we were impressed by the Lewis Road marketing team and their ability to provide prompt feedback and resources as and when required. Their brief included working alongside their partner agency, adding another element of complexity to the comms plan.

The goal was simple: create the design-centric single page website that captures the essence of the popular New Zealand brand for overseas consumers and meets the looming product launch deadline.

Vue.JS is the ideal codebase for building user interfaces and single-page applications quickly, so we used it. The outcome is a lightweight, fast loading single page scrolling site that includes mobile friendly design and easily digestible content. When combined, these elements truly represent Lewis Roads premium dairy product offering.
