Initial Strategy Workshop
A collaborative session where we deep-dive into your brand, your business objectives, your target audience and the end-to-end customer journey. It surfaces the assumptions and priorities that shape everything that follows.
Between 70% and 80% of digital transformation initiatives fail to meet their stated objectives, and the research is consistent on why: it is rarely the technology. The failures trace back to predictable strategic gaps, most often a discovery phase that was skipped or poorly executed.
The pressure that causes this is familiar. Marketing leaders, GMs and founders are told to invest in digital, AI, or transformation, often all three, and to do it now. So teams rush straight into development to secure quick wins, and fall into the same traps: the business hasn't agreed what problem it is solving, what it can realistically support, or what should happen first.
And the cost of getting it wrong compounds. Budget gets committed to the wrong priorities, previous strategy work sits unused because it was too generic to act on, and every month a mistake goes unnoticed the cost of correcting it grows.
After more than 15 years supporting marketing leaders, GMs and founders, we have watched this struggle play out again and again. Dream Discovery is our answer to the problem: the initial step built to solve an industry-wide challenge, heading it off not only before these investments become expensive, but before they fail altogether.
“Their process is methodical and yet felt tailored to our needs. The journey Dream Config took us on motivated us to think more deeply about our brand and the customers we're working with. An unexpected bonus in a digital discovery.”
Focused on solving real business problems first, then allowing technology to follow.
Connecting strategy and technology to people, and building capability within the organisation to sustain it.
It begins with asking the right questions that challenge assumptions and will unlock unique opportunities moving forward.
Different tiers based on the complexity of the business and the depth of alignment required. Every tier delivers the same core artefacts.
Suited to startups, small SMEs and businesses with a single core offer.
Suited to mid-sized organisations with meaningful operational complexity.
Suited to larger organisations where alignment across teams is a significant part of the work.
A digital strategy audit is a paid diagnostic engagement that evaluates where a business currently sits across its digital operating context, including customer, competition, positioning, capability and current tools, and produces a defensible roadmap for what to invest in next. It's designed to happen before implementation begins, not after. A good audit produces three things: a clear-eyed diagnosis, a strategic direction the business can defend internally, and a prioritised roadmap for the next 12 to 18 months. Dream Config's version is Dream Discovery.
Dream Discovery is a fixed-scope diagnostic covering a structured workshop across eight strategic areas of your business, a full digital audit of your current position across customer experience, technical foundations, measurement, search and AI visibility and competitive signals, and a synthesis into a phased 18-month roadmap using the Dream Growth model.
You receive a written strategic report and presentation deck covering diagnosis, opportunities, positioning, competitive advantage and reasons to believe; the prioritised, sequenced roadmap; and a full readout with your leadership team walking through the findings, direction and next steps. Everything produced belongs to you, usable with any implementation partner.
A free consultation is a scoping conversation. Dream Discovery is a paid strategic engagement with a defined scope and a set of deliverables you keep whether or not you engage Dream Config for the work that follows. The paid model exists because a rigorous diagnostic takes real time, including stakeholder interviews, digital audit, competitive review and strategic synthesis, and the outcome has to be defensible enough to guide 12 to 18 months of investment. You're paying for evidence and clarity, not a pitch.
Yes, you own everything Discovery produces: the strategic report, the presentation deck, and the 18-month roadmap. You can use it, share it internally, or hand it to any implementation partner, in-house team, or agency. Where Dream Config is the right fit for the recommended work, we can provide a separate costed proposal, but that's an optional next step, not a condition of Discovery. Discovery is a paid diagnostic, not a licensing arrangement.
The Dream Growth model is the four-phase operating framework we use to structure every roadmap: Reach, Engage, Convert, Grow. Every recommendation is grouped by phase and sequenced by dependency, so the order of investment is defensible and the connections between phases are visible. It gives your leadership a clear picture of what to prioritise, what to sequence, and what can wait, instead of a flat list of tactics competing for budget.
The tier reflects the complexity of your business and the depth of alignment work required. Small suits startups or businesses with a single core offer and one or two stakeholders. Medium suits mid-sized organisations with multiple product lines, markets, or business units. Enterprise suits larger organisations where alignment across teams, brands, or functions is a substantial part of the work. If you're unsure, we'll help you work out the right tier before you commit.
